Itinerary:

Week 1: Northern Patagonia (Chile)

Day 1: Arrival in Puerto Montt

  • Activities:
    • Arrive in Puerto Montt.
    • Explore the city center and Angelmó fish market.
    • Dinner at a local seafood restaurant.

Day 2: Puerto Montt to Chiloé Island

  • Distance: 90 km to the ferry, plus ferry crossing
  • Activities:
    • Drive to Pargua and take the ferry to Chiloé Island.
    • Visit Ancud and Fort San Antonio.
    • Continue to Castro and explore the palafitos (stilt houses) and the Church of San Francisco.
