From Santiago, head to the central ski Resorts of Farellones – Colorado and Valle Nevado. Head down to Pucón and ski on an active volcano (could a trip be any more badass?) and enjoy steaming it up in thousands of hot springs around the area such as “Los Posones,” a super-rad hot-spring… and cheap too!.

From Pucón, cross the Andes to Argentina in between a forest of “Araucarias” trees and get stoned with the charm of San Martin de los Andes and Bariloche where you can always find good snow. 

From Bariloche, head back north to Mendoza, then cross to Chile on a spectacular curving pass at 4,500 meters, where you can enjoy of the Portillo ski resort.

If you are a ski-adventurer, this is one trip for the bucket list.
